HIKE, EXPLORE OR SIMPLY... RELAX
AT SÖLVANES FARM
Book NowSölvanes is a traditional sheep farm located in a beautiful valley of Skagafjördur, North Iceland. It is 20 km South of Varmahlíð, by road 752 leading to Sprengisandur.
Sölvanes is very much a family affair, run by Rúnar Máni and his wife Eydís, both from North Iceland. He is a mechanic from Sauðárkrókur, while she graduated in Rural Tourism from Háskólinn á Hólum. The two sons and other family members play an active part in the family business.
In addition to the daily farm operation, Sölvanes Farm offers cozy bed and breakfast in the Old Farm House that can accommodate up to 10 guests at once, who can enjoy a home cooked dinner upon request. Guests are also welcome to use the guesthouse cooking facilities. For more information, do not hesitate to contact Eydís or Máni!
